[Bug 798995] Re: Builtin SDCard Reader in Toshiba Qosmio X505 Doesn't Work
I downloaded Precise beta2, and was unable to get the sd card to work on it. I only tried it on a live usb of it though, so I'm not sure if that would make a difference or not. However, on my Arch install the sd reader works with the same "options sdhci debug_quirks=0x40" added (kernel 3.2.13-1-ARCH). If you still want me to run apport-collect from the livecd I will, but I don't have a spare partition at the moment to test it on an actual install. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/798995 Title: Builtin SDCard Reader in Toshiba Qosmio X505 Doesn't Work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/798995/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 798995] Re: Builtin SDCard Reader in Toshiba Qosmio X505 Doesn't Work
HalfEmptyHero, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ . If it remains an issue, could you run the following command from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal). It will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report. apport-collect -p linux Also, if you could test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream- testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results. Thanks in advance. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete ** Tags added: needs-upstream-testing -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/798995 Title: Builtin SDCard Reader in Toshiba Qosmio X505 Doesn't Work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/798995/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
