[Bug 8011] Re: Installer fails to recognize existing partitions
I think my problem is due to mobo's 32gb limit (limitation), because it's very old. So, i agree to invalidate this bug. -- Installer fails to recognize existing partitions https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/8011 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 8011] Re: Installer fails to recognize existing partitions
I have this problem, too. I thought that the problem was fragmentation of the hd, but after a good defrag, the problem continues... i've also tried to correct the partition table using Partition Magic and other software (some errors were found and corrected) but i still can't see partitions. GParted live cd recognize the partitions but Ubuntu does not (it says that is whole free space) Ah and GParted recognizes 114gb, ubuntu recognizes 122gb! I think it's strange. I think it might be helpful to have a warning in the installer. Can you tell me how have you solved the partitions table error? -- Installer fails to recognize existing partitions https://launchpad.net/bugs/8011 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
