I can't reproduce this in gutsy beta (OOo 1:2.3.0-1ubuntu2). I've tried it from writer, calc, impress and base, i've tried searching for over a dozen different terms within both index and find. I can confirm this bug with feisty final and openoffice 2.2.0 (up to date). The first time it crashed with a SIGSEV message I believe. The second time Impress became unresponsive.
