Public bug reported: Description: Ubuntu 11.04 Release: 11.04
auctex: Instalados: 11.86-2ubuntu1 Candidato: 11.86-2ubuntu1 Tabla de versión: *** 11.86-2ubuntu1 0 500 http://es.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty/main i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status emacs: Instalados: 23.2+1-7ubuntu2 Candidato: 23.2+1-7ubuntu2 Tabla de versión: *** 23.2+1-7ubuntu2 0 500 http://es.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty/main i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status - Direct search does not work: One expects to go to the line of the output file corresponding to the line of the source file where your cursor is. Instead, the first page of the output file is opened. - Inverse search does not work: One expects to got to the line of the source file corresponding to the line of the output file where you have control-clicked. Instead, an error message appears (editor is not set) and vi is opened. - LaTeX Preview does not work: After precompilation, only red error signs appear instead of the expected precompiled images. I quick google search shows that these problems have been stated by other users. Nonetheless, setting variables has not solved the problem for me. I copy paste my init.el that worked for me since 2006. ** Affects: auctex (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/805876 Title: Direct/Inverse Search and LaTeX Preview are broken To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/auctex/+bug/805876/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
