Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: krita

Hello,
I've just been sent CMYK JPEG files instead of RGB ones; they're made in Adobe
Photoshop CS (Windows XP). As far as I know, they have no specific color
profile embedded.
Colors seemed strange to me when I saw the files in Nautilus as a thumbnail, so
I opened one with Krita (as Gimp doesn't handle CMYK), thinking it would be in
CMYK while I expected RGB. Krita reports (in file information) that it is in
RGB. When trying to convert the color space, default destination is CMYK and if
I force RGB, the colors are converted from the wrong ones.
I phoned the person that sent me the pictures and he confirmed to me that he
forgot to convert them before e-mailing them and that they are indeed in CMYK.
There seems to be a problem with colorspace detection in Krita.
