Public bug reported:

Description: Ubuntu oneiric (development branch)
Release: 11.10

Upgrading Ubuntu 11.04 with Unity to Ubuntu 11.10 resulted in an unfinished
upgrade.
Unity works partially. Unity 2D seems to work for now.

It I try to update all the packages that were not installed I receive
the message:

"Can't install 'ubuntu-desktop'

It was impossible to install a required package. Please report this as a
bug using 'ubuntu-bug update-manager' in a terminal."
