[Bug 835297] Re: sometimes /etc/timezone is not being created
I don't know exactly when my /etc/timezone got deleted. My system was last installed around feisty and after that only dist-upgraded (usually around alpha2 to the development version). During natty I don't remember having any problems with the datetime applet (I was using gnome-classic) and after upgrading to oneiric (once again during the development cycle) and switching to unity-2d somewhen my /etc/timezone gone missing. I don't remember anymore if it the problem with the datetime indicator was directly after the dist-upgrade or somewhen later during one of the following upgrades. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/835297 Title: sometimes /etc/timezone is not being created To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/indicator-datetime/+bug/835297/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
