Public bug reported: OEM installation in German using kubuntu-oneiric-desktop-i386.iso from 2011-08-29.
After oem-config-prepare and a reboot, oem-config starts. The input fields have the wrong character encoding, shown by garbled text when trying to enter a name that has a German Umlaut in it. The keyboard layout is correct, verified by trying other keys on the keyboard. However, the display of any non-ASCII characters is incorrect. Screenshot will be attached.
