No worries. I tried with the image http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu /daily-live/current/oneiric-desktop-i386.iso synchronized with zsync Tue Oct 4 20:40:01 CST 2011 To be sure, I also create a completely new disk for this test. Interestingly, the installer crashed when it was almost done, but I have not had any opportunity to investigate that further. However, I figured the disks had already been partitioned, so I started a live session and ran sfdisk. I also just tried with the 64bit version that I downloaded Monday.
