[Bug 843639] Re: VIA VT6421 SATA card still seems to crash many systems
This bug is still showing on raring. I read that it was fixed in the 2.6.x branch, but I keep getting the same errors on raring (default iso kernel). ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Expired => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/843639 Title: VIA VT6421 SATA card still seems to crash many systems To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/843639/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 843639] Re: VIA VT6421 SATA card still seems to crash many systems
#724421 seems to be a duplicate of this bug (or the other way round...) Please note that in my case the issue is not linked to Western Digital hard drives - but I also seem to be the only one attaching a DVD drive to this card. Additionally, the crash is always reproducible. It seems to have nothing to do with high transfer speeds as reported by other people. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/843639 Title: VIA VT6421 SATA card still seems to crash many systems To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-lts-backport-natty/+bug/843639/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
