Hi, for those in need of a working VNC, may want to have a look at tigervnc while this bug gets fixed... http://www.tigervnc.com/ Tigervnc is simply a fork of RealVNC. @jp.fox, apparently recompiling vncviewer with a gcc option -fno-stack- protector should fix that. Unfortunately the vncviewer build system is rather unusual.
