Thanks for the reply. I was only attempting to import photos - not videos. And until now, importing photos into Shotwell worked perfectly. We have a ticket for this: http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/4172 >From another reporter, it appears that this has to do with importing corrupted or unknown video files.
