[Bug 863751] Re: sound stopped working after yesterday's update
Aaron, maybe I had the same problem. Stepping back to kernel 2.6.32-33 (from 2.6.32-34) solved it for me. [Bug 863751] Re: sound stopped working after yesterday's update
Aaron, That's too bad...mine only showed the 'internal audio' too, but worked...unfortunately I don't have any other ideas...hopefully someone else in the community does. Re: [Bug 863751] Re: sound stopped working after yesterday's update
Thanks for the advice. It only lists one audio device: "internal audio". I have tried playing around with different combinations of outputs but nothing seems to change. [Bug 863751] Re: sound stopped working after yesterday's update
Aaron, I had the same issuesee if this helps. Go to your System settings-sound. See if the correct sound card is selected. Mine had changed cards (to one I didn't even know I had). Then I changed it to the analog, or another card that was listed, ran the sound test, and it worked. Give that a try. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/863751 Title: sound stopped working after yesterday's update To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/863751/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
