Confirmed on x86_64 11.10 ubuntu up to date. The PC is a Dell Workstation T7400. Confirmed on a Dell XPS L502X with ALL options disabled (even the on-battery ones). My desktop has suspend disabled through all GUI options I can find, yet it still suspends, and can never be woken up. Makes ubuntu 11.10 totally unusable. Attached is dmesg. After I push a key to resume, the display stays turned off, and the CPU fan spins to the max.
