[Bug 864620] Re: unity-panel-service crashed with signal 7
indicator-power definitely looks like the culprit in that Stacktrace -- marking as Invalid for Unity and unity (Ubuntu). FWIW: the indicator-power code in play here was rewritten for 12.04 and the path shown in the Stacktrace no longer exists. Specifically, build_menu() no longer calls g_settings_get_boolean(). So this is /probably/ fixed but without more information on how to reproduce the error, it's difficult to say for sure. So I'm leaving the indicator- power components as Incomplete. ** Changed in: unity Status: Incomplete = Invalid ** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/864620 Title: unity-panel-service crashed with signal 7 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/indicator-power/+bug/864620/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 864620] Re: unity-panel-service crashed with signal 7
Unity-panel-service has crashed, so Unity might be at fault here. Though it is clear that it did crash when it was interacting with the power menu. ** Visibility changed to: Public ** Changed in: indicator-power (Ubuntu) Status: New = Confirmed ** Also affects: indicator-power Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: unity Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: indicator-power Status: New = Confirmed ** Changed in: indicator-power Importance: Undecided = Medium -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/864620 Title: unity-panel-service crashed with signal 7 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/indicator-power/+bug/864620/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
