I can confirm the yelp performance issue. The processor was on full blast - once yelp was terminated, the system is much quieter now. I can reproduce this bug on Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit with yelp 3.4.1-0ubuntu1.The test machine has a quad-core 3.2 GHz AMD Phenom II and when the bug occurs one of the cores constantly runs at 100% until closing yelp (tested for 10+ minutes). It seems that high CPU usage is triggered by using the search bar in yelp. If a search query produces no results, load is normal. But if a query produces some results, high CPU load occurs.
