[Bug 87478] Re: [apport] jackd crashed with SIGSEGV in pthread_cancel()
Libfreebob is no longer maintained upstream. It's development has been superseeded by libffado (added in Ubuntu 9.04). Please confirm if you are still having issues and if so, please reopen this report. ** Changed in: libfreebob (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = Invalid -- [apport] jackd crashed with SIGSEGV in pthread_cancel() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/87478 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 87478] Re: [apport] jackd crashed with SIGSEGV in pthread_cancel()
there's a different problem now that is complicated further by not having rt kernel in 8.10 -- [apport] jackd crashed with SIGSEGV in pthread_cancel() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/87478 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 or 9.04? ** Changed in: libfreebob (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- [apport] jackd crashed with SIGSEGV in pthread_cancel() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/87478 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 87478] Re: [apport] jackd crashed with SIGSEGV in pthread_cancel()
The matter seem to be a problem of listing the freebob available sound card in qjackctl : it seems that there is a problem with getting the port of the soundcard, like it is done for alsa sound cards -- [apport] jackd crashed with SIGSEGV in pthread_cancel() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/87478 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 87478] Re: [apport] jackd crashed with SIGSEGV in pthread_cancel()
This bug may be relative to the FreeBob librairy, because the sound card is using firewire. I own a Presonus Firebox and have the same problem. I am in touch with some ffado devel in order to understand what is the bug with freebob in Ubuntu. precision : i have the bug with feisty and with gutsy.
