[Bug 875687] Re: Screen brightness settings not saved
I have the same problem with Oneiric for every user on my laptop. But i have found a disgusting way to pass the problem for the time being. Put the next statement in the Startup Applications Preferences for every user: 'pkexec /usr/lib/gnome-settings-daemon/gsd-backlight-helper --set-brightness X' where X is a number from 0 till 7, 0 is low and 7 is high brightness. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/875687 Title: Screen brightness settings not saved To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fglrx-installer/+bug/875687/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
