My banshee crashes too very often after upgrading Ubuntu. I started banshee with banshee --debug. After banshee is about to play the next song, it chrashes. Now Banshee stoped crashing after a few songs but it stops playing songs after a few by Last.fm. In your home directory, check View → Show Hidden Files, and then navigate to .config, then to banshee-1, and upload the log file.
