2007-06-27 Thread Quark Green
Another couple of offline emails, moving towards a positive response
from Frederic to this bug request.

On 20/06/07,Quark Green wrote:

Hello Frederic,

Could you please confirm that you will re-compile the current version of
Wireshark with Kerberos support? Or the next version? Could you
indicate approximately when this would happen?

On 25/06/07, Frederic Peters wrote:

[SNIP] I am currently building a new Wireshark release (0.99.6-pre1) and
it has Kerberos explictely enabled.

Based on the above information from Frederic, I am updating the status
of this bug to 'In Progress'.

[Bug 88031] Re: Kerberos support

2007-06-20 Thread Quark Green
I am copying here a couple of offline emails on this subject between
myself and Frederic Peters who is the maintainer of Wireshark in Debian.

[Bug 88031] Re: Kerberos support

2007-06-07 Thread Quark Green
Thank you for taking the time to file this bug report. So that we can address
this bug, we'd be grateful if you would provide a more complete description of
the problem.
1. Please provide the output of the command "uname -a" in your next response.
It should be one, long line of text which includes the exact kernel version
you're running, as well as the CPU architecture.
2. Please inform us of the version of Wireshark that doesn't include Kerberos
support.
4. Any other information you think may be helpful.
