This sound card worked perfectly until the 2.6.20-9 kernel release with
the new ALSA drivers, and still works under 2.6.20-8, from reports I've
read on the Ubuntu forums. However, under 2.6.20-9, the audio is barely
audible, and in order to have audio output from Amarok audible, I have
to turn the physical volume control on my notebook all the way up, make
sure all the mixer settings are all the way up and that the equalizer in
Amarok has been set to where all the sliders are maxxed-out. KDE system
notifications are barely audible.
