Public bug reported: Running 12.04 Precise, and just updated my packages - since precise now uses perl 5.14, pidgin has broken dependencies: (for libpurple0:) Requires: libperl5.12 Requires: perlapi5.12.4
(for pidgin:) Requires: perlapi5.12.4 I suggest that these dependencies are changed for Precise so that they rely on the appropriate packages for Perl 5.14.
