I also have this problem. In detail, I downloaded the hplip-3.13.6.run installer and followed the installation instructions (that is, just execute "sh hplip-3.13.6.run") but after a while, maybe just at the end of the installation procedure, I got the following message: /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/gtk-2.0/gtk/__init__.py:127: RuntimeWarning: PyOS_InputHook is not available for interactive use of PyGTK set_interactive(1) "sni-qt/7902" WARN 16:47:55.464 void StatusNotifierItemFactory::connectToSnw() Invalid interface to SNW_SERVICE What should I do? Sorry for having left that report, i've not seen that issue since ages on i386 : none of Precise, Quantal or Raring complaint.
