Arjun: Assuming the problem is still here after updating all the packages in Feisty to their latest versions could you upload the file dmesg.txt produced by running dmesg > dmesg.txt and add the output of the following command: dpkg -l nvidia-\* | grep ii to this bug report? there is no xorg.log. Do you mean Xorg.0.log? I attached it. After playing around a bit, I got Xorg to load with nvidia module if I did a ctrl + alt + backspace.
