[Bug 90063] Re: Packet writing should work as default in most systems - put "DEVICES=/dev/cdrw" in /etc/default/udftools
So I added: DEVICES=/dev/cdrw DEVICES=/dev/hda DEVICES=/dev/hdb I checked in /etc/fstab if these where the correct values first. It seems all trouble is gone! Try it yourself! -- Packet writing should work as default in most systems - put "DEVICES=/dev/cdrw" in /etc/default/udftools https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/90063 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 90063] Re: Packet writing should work as default in most systems - put "DEVICES=/dev/cdrw" in /etc/default/udftools
I'm amazed that it could be so simple! There are some rough edges though: after performing this trick, it seems libdvdcss2 doesn't work any more. So it is almost impossible to watch commercial dvd's.
