Hi

1) Run something like conky or system monitor to watch the memory.
2) View around 100 jpg pictures using the standard image viewer. Proceed from 
one image to the next using the image viewer "next" button. ** it may also leak 
with other image formats.

You'll see the  available memory resources drop.

When you quit the image viewer the resources are not returned. This is a
resource/memory leak
