Public bug reported: Please see question 183415, which has details, including the appropriate /var/log/dmesg file. https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+question/183415 When I boot with a wireless mouse, Logitech model M310, the mouse works fine but there is no response from any key of the keyboard. Keyboard input works for password entry on login, but stops working after login. Both mouse and keyboard work with Windows 7, so it's not a hardware problem. Secondly, I put some lines in my shell resource configuration file to dump the output from dmesg, and that does not get executed. The same problem was experienced with Lynx, Meerkat, Narwhal, and now Ocelot. Thanks for help.
