** Description changed:

  Well,

Whenever I try to turn bluetooth off, the airplane mode kick in.
Afterward, I can switch that mode off but it is only after using the
function key on my keyboard... Then and only then my wireless is back up
  (with Bluetooth, of course)

  Thank you in advance !

Actually, my mistake, I confused two different bug reports regarding
Bluetooth.

I confirm this bug is no more for me.

[Bug 912488] Re: [Dell Inspiron 14z (N411z)] Turning Bluetooth off turns Wifi off

2014-05-26 Thread Stéphane Guillou
Hi Donald and Christopher.
I still have this issue in 12.04.
Donald, can you remember when this issue fixed itself for you? Did you upgrade
to a more recent release?

I am reopening this as the issue remains the same for me.

Stéphane Guillou, please do not reopen a closed linux (Ubuntu) bug report that
you are not the original reporter of. Instead, so your hardware and problem may
be tracked, could you please file a new report with Ubuntu by executing the
following in a terminal while booted into a Ubuntu repository kernel (not a
mainline one) via:
ubuntu-bug linux

For more on this, please read the official Ubuntu documentation:
Ubuntu Bug Control and Ubuntu Bug Squad:
