Is there a patch that I can apply to the UI to fix this? Also in Xubuntu 13.04, /usr/bin/software-center 5.6.0 (Ubuntu Software Centre); very obvious in the history tab. settings manager - appearance - style: Blackbird will show this problem. Can a developer provide a hint on where the colors are set/loaded? I'm not familiar with the organization of the source, and there is a lot of python code in software-center. I would be happy to work on a patch if someone pointed me in the right direction. As is, this app is almost unusable with my desktop color theme.
