[Bug 91434] Re: Live cd problem

2007-03-18 Thread GabrielGrant
Budman: Based on that output, this appears to be a duplicate of
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-source-2.6.20/+bug/84964

It does not immediately seem to be related to the problems with Edgy, as
your problem first appeared in later kernel releases, so please track
bug 84964 regarding your problem.

Thanks!

[Bug 91434] Re: Live cd problem

2007-03-14 Thread Budman
I am having this exact problem with Fiesty Herd 5. Edgy works fine in
64, and 32bit, but fiesty won't boot, and i get this same error in both
32 and 64. I am attaching my working edgy logs. I am new to linux, but
if there is anything i can do please email me. Thanks for everything
you guys do.

[Bug 91434] Re: Live cd problem

2007-03-12 Thread Brian Murray
If you happen to have a working version of Ubuntu at all could you please
include the following additional information, if you have not already done so
(please pay attention to lspci's additional options), as required by the Ubuntu
Kernel Team:
1. Please include the output of the command 'uname -a' in your next response.
It should be one, long line of text which includes the exact kernel version
you're running, as well as the CPU architecture.
2. Please run the command 'dmesg > dmesg.log' and attach the resulting file
'dmesg.log' to this bug report.
3. Please run the command 'lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.log' and attach the
resulting file 'lspci-vvnn.log' to this bug report.
For your reference, the full description of procedures for kernel-related bug
reports is available at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingKernelProblems . Thanks
in advance!
