[Bug 917559] Re: can not connect internet via bluetooth DUN

2012-04-01 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
sa, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. This
bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it
recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with
the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available
from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ .

If it remains an issue, could you run the following command from a
Terminal (Applications-Accessories-Terminal). It will automatically
gather and attach updated debug information to this report.

apport-collect -p linux replace-with-bug-number

Also, if you could test the latest upstream kernel available that would
be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the
issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once
you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-
testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon
next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and
deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your
results.

Thanks in advance.

[Bug 917559] Re: can not connect internet via bluetooth DUN

2012-01-20 Thread sa
Sorry I have to say this:
The report which I sent is belong to kernel 3.0.0-14-generic
Should I send same report for kernel 2.6.38-11-generic that I got the bug ?

And I wanna say one more thing; I added this message the needed lines from
/var/log/messages :
One is belong to kernel 3.0.0-14-generic (for unsuccessfull try)
The other is belong to kernel 2.6.38-11-generic (for successfull try)

May be helpful.
thank you for your interest.

[Bug 917559] Re: can not connect internet via bluetooth DUN

2012-01-17 Thread Phil. V
Thanks for your bug report. This sounds like a kernel problem since the
bug manifests itself after a kernel upgrade, but we may need a task open
against bluez as well. I'll file this against linux for now and let
someone more informed make that determination. Could you please run
'apport-collect 917559' in a terminal to attach some system information
to this report? After you do that you can change the status of this bug
to confirmed, and the kernel team should get back to you after that.
