Your Ubuntu versions are EOL. Can you please test this with a supported Ubuntu version, at best I suggest Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. I have same problem with Firefox 3.0.10 for Windows XP and Flash 10.0 r22 Firefox freezes for minute or two after I close tab with flash. Could anyone confirm this still exists using Jaunty Jackalope, 9.04 development version. It is using Firefox 3.0.7 as of 2009-03-05. I attempted to reproduce this using a P3, 866MHz cpu with 512MB ram. I could not reproduce this bug. The bug should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Jaunty Jackalope. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. well then I am having similar issues. when I try and go to another tab, firefox freezes. This only happens when i'm watching video playback through youtube or any other flash video website. In my expirence, it not only freezes konqueror, but it causes the entire system to become unresponsive and uses 100% cpu.
