I should mention that this happened when using my old /home Oneiric parition mounted as home through fstab in Precise. UPDATE: -on the clean install using the daily-live this doesn't happen because it uses the stock unity that comes with it. -on the attached video and screenshot I have used the unity-team/ppa - unity 5.2.0~+bzr1885.
