Mar 29, 2009, I am seeing these messages in terminal after gksudo nautilus closes, with differing numbers of "elements still in hash table," and list of directories nautilus has navigated. Can anyone tell me whether these errors are cumulative (as the former Windows user apparently has suggested,) or can I safely ignore them? Thanks, I've read that in some other posts. However, this problem just started today. Since yesterday, I've installed several themes and icons. I also installed code:blocks. I can't remember if I installed anything else. Is there a install log, that I can check? No, it's pretty much there no matter what you do: if you run nautilus from a terminal, it will spit out junk such as that (plugins init'ing and finalizing, Eel's overly-chatty hash table warnings, etc). Thanks, I've read that in some other posts. However, this problem just started today. Since yesterday, I've installed several themes and icons. I also installed code:blocks. I can't remember if I installed anything else. Is there a install log, that I can check? No, it's pretty much there no matter what you do: if you run nautilus from a terminal, it will spit out junk such as that (plugins init'ing and finalizing, Eel's overly-chatty hash table warnings, etc). Mar 29, 2009, I am seeing these messages in terminal after gksudo nautilus closes, with differing numbers of "elements still in hash table," and list of directories nautilus has navigated. Can anyone tell me whether these errors are cumulative (as the former Windows user apparently has suggested,) or can I safely ignore them? No, it's pretty much there no matter what you do: if you run nautilus from a terminal, it will spit out junk such as that (plugins init'ing and finalizing, Eel's overly-chatty hash table warnings, etc).
