Hi In the last version of giplet the applet does not "dissapear" anymore. In case of wrong URL, or no IP a Text "Giplet" is shown, such that one can still find the applet instead to become "invisible". Well, I found by myself the solution. It really does 'not' disappear. It becomes just 'invisible': you can find it out (also with a bit of luck) if you hit with right mouse button where the edge of the applet is supposed to be.
