I can reproduce the issue in Ubuntu 12.04. Package version is: $ env LANG=C aptitude show ~ilibreoffice-kde Package: libreoffice-kde State: installed Automatically installed: no Version: 1:3.5.3-0ubuntu1 ... Also, I can confirm that unreleased version 1:3.5.4~rc2-0ubuntu1~ppa1 fixes the issue, as reported by Kai Spindler in comment #13 of related ubuntu bug LP:#942710. This bug affects me too. Libreoffice (3.5.3.2 Build-ID: 350m1(Build:2)), The one that came with Kubuntu 12.04 amd64 i added a strace log.
