As part of the big bug clear up for 16.04 LTS I am marking this bug as Wont Fix. These types of crasher are better handled by errors.ubutnu.com which can collate similar crash reports to help us identify persitent bugs rather than one-off crashes. Just to add some feedback, despite the crash notification the session is not impaired and compiz continues working, I guess it is relaunched. I wonder also if this is not related to the shortly garbled screen between the greeter login and the desktop bacgkround appearance. I doubt I'm alone at experiencing it, it seems so clearly a bug that I don't know if I need (and how) to describe it. So much for the smooth background transition from login to session.
