Thats interesting. Had same bug (Mint12). Removed HOME/.config/libreoffice/3/user/registrymodifications.xcu. I then closed L-O and it wrote the registry file again. Same problem with 3.5.2 on Windows XP. 1) I completely uninstalled and re-installed LO. 2) Created and saved a new file. 3) Closed and re-opened LO. 4) Looked at Recent Files list. It was empty. [Bug 950071] Re: LibreOffice Recent documents list is always empty
Running LibreOffice 3.5.1.2 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Beta 2 and this bug still occurs - when I open a file, close it and then go to Recent Documents, the list is always empty. And I have just updated my LibreOffice package to the latest version yesterday night. Is it that a full list of Recent Documents disappears for you or is it that documents don't get added to Recent list? Do restored documents appear and then disappear from Recent list? [Bug 950071] Re: LibreOffice Recent documents list is always empty
Thank you for your reply Björn, Apparently there is a fix for this bug released in LO 3.5.1 but I did not test it. (see comment 17 of link [2] below) I found two interesting pages about the issue: [1] http://ask.libreoffice.org/question/254/why-is-the-recent-documents-list-empty-in-35 [2] https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46074 Removing ~/.libreoffice did not work. Apparently LO is storing registry in ~/.config/libreoffice but moving ~/.config/libreoffice did not work either. I've tried all combinations they suggested with no luck. So I uninstalled every package of LO completely from synaptic and installed LO suite again and now it works fine. ** Bug watch added: freedesktop.org Bugzilla #46074 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46074 ** Changed in: libreoffice (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/950071 Title: LibreOffice Recent documents list is always empty To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/df-libreoffice/+bug/950071/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
