[Bug 952996] Re: XTerm application either in alt-tab or in super+#, not both

2012-05-10 Thread m grachten
the problem seems to be that xterm has no desktop file:
https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/29804?project=1openedfrom=-1+week

adding the desktop file from the url to /usr/share/applications solves
the problem for me.

[Bug 952996] Re: XTerm application either in alt-tab or in super+#, not both

2012-03-14 Thread David Barth
Yes, 5.6.0 is a unity-3d version where you said you had unity-2d
installed. If you can't reproduce the issue now, neither with 2d nor 3d,
then it's invalid. Feel free to reopen if you find a reproducible test
case.

Thanks

** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu)
   Status: New = Invalid

2012-03-12 Thread Marc Tardif
Now both alt-tab and super+# seem to work. So, I can't reproduce the
problem anymore but I'm not sure I would consider this behavior quite
fixed. This is going to be difficult to troubleshoot...

The apport data says unity not installed. Which version of Unity are
you running? Probably 5.6.0 fixed it.

Looks like I have unity-2d installed, latest version as of now:
5.6.0-0ubuntu1

2012-03-12 Thread Marc Tardif
I tried installing unity (3d) where both alt-tab and super+# also seem
to work. I haven't noticed the behavior originally reported in this bug
since using unity. Should we consider this bug as a local problem and
set the status to invalid?
