[Bug 95300] Re: the installer crashed
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an iussue for you? The 18-month support period for Edge Eft 6.10 has reached it's end of life, so could you please try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance. ** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete ** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) = Chris Coulson (chrisccoulson) -- the installer crashed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/95300 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 95300] Re: the installer crashed
I'm now running Hardy Heron (8.04), and it didn't show up for that. So I'd say not to worry about it now. [Bug 95300] Re: the installer crashed
I changed memory from GoodRAM to Kingston (the same capacity) and a problem dissapeared. -- the installer crashed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/95300 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 95300] Re: the installer crashed
I also got this error, but at the beginning of the installation process. Since nothing had been installed I had no way of attaching any files. The only thing I noticed that might be helpful was the message out of disk space at the end of the trace, despite the fact that my root partition had 8GB. I now have no way to continue the installation, which is quite frustrating. -- the installer crashed https://launchpad.net/bugs/95300 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
