After a while i get: BusyBox v1.1.3 (Debian 1:1.1.3-3ubuntu2) Built-in shell (ash) Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands /bins/sh: can't acces tty; job control turned off (initramfs) _ and as xsist10 said, i have no floppy drive. Same problem as of today. Both i386 and amd64 versions. I'm assuming that everyone reporting this problem doesn't have a floppy drive. I got rid of the: udev-event[2113]: run_program: '/sbin/modprobe' abnormal exit by disabling the floppy drive in my BIOS. The problem was fixed for me. Could you please report a _new_ bug report with the outputs of * dmesg output (you can type in terminal dmesg dmesg.log) * lspci -vv and lspci -vvn output as seperate attachments. Also mention your affected mainboards in the bug report!
