Public bug reported: The upgrade from 1.8.4 to 1.9 in libclutter and/or upgrade of libclutter-gtk from 1.0.4 to 1.1.2 has produced the following error:
Clutter-CRITICAL **: Unable to retrieve the geometry of the foreign window: XGetGeometry() failed (status code: 0) This error occurs when the application attempts to add the embed clutter stage to the window container (python, gir) the result is that the stage is not rendered ont he window but instead opens a new windows to host the stage.
