Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

I upgraded from Edgy to Feisty beta last night. I had a set of application
launchers
in my gnome-panel. They were still ok after the upgrade. Now I tried to change
some
icons using the GUI. Impossible to do, get a red cross and no way to get the
icon back.
I checked the launcher files in ~.gnome2/panel2.d/default/launchers/. It seems
that the problem is
in the language specification. Feisty adds icon[en_US]=blahblah. Before there
was icon=BLEHBLEH,
without the language specification. If I change it all back to icon=blahblah
and kill the gnome-panel, everything is ok (the new icon is there).
