I don't know. In Gutsy now it works fine.
The problem was with Feisty!

Kmail should define "kfmclient openProfile webbrowsing" as the default
browser. Otherwise it looses any sense.

I choose konqueror as the default KDE browser. And this yelds to
the "problem".
If I choose anyting different, it works as said by mr.
