[Bug 96344] Re: [UNMETDEPS] scsh-defaults has unmet dependencies
Ok. I ll take this bug. It will be my first UNMETDEPS-fix and I am not sure how tough that is. I checked some debdiff files from other UNMETDEPS and they didn't look much work. What's the importance level? If it is 'high' maybe I'm not the right guy for this (newbie) I ll do my best. ** Changed in: scsh-defaults (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Dimitris Kiousis Status: Confirmed => In Progress -- [UNMETDEPS] scsh-defaults has unmet dependencies https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/96344 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 96344] Re: [UNMETDEPS] scsh-defaults has unmet dependencies
It seems that this bug is out of my league. Same opinion had several MOTUs in the #ubuntu-motu channel. So, I guess I' m leaving this to more advanced users. Sorry :) Some info to those who will try later: When I tried to install the package I get: Depends: scsh-0.6 but it is not installable. The problem is that scsh-0.6 is not built for AM64. There is a segm error. ** Changed in: scsh-defaults (Ubuntu) Assignee: Dimitris Kiousis => (unassigned) Status: In Progress => Confirmed -- [UNMETDEPS] scsh-defaults has unmet dependencies https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/96344 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

The real problem is that SCSH does not build on any 64-bit architecture. However, it is possible to build a 32-bit binary for amd64 systems.
