I can confirm this too. And this only happens if I open a directory from a menu on the panel for example typicaly from the Places menu. I can confirm this bug under the same configuration. For instance, when opening my "Downloads" folder, the "Opening Downloads" button appears first. Then, after a few seconds, a new button appears to the left of this one.
