Same problem here. I open the document and the font is ugly. Installing msttcorefonts didn't solve the issue. Seen like it using a ugly non- smooth font as a replacement for a missing one. That's right, installing the msttcorefonts package solves this. But shouldn't evince give me a hint that i has to do so? Or shouldn't evince automatically download these if i open a PDF that need these fonts?
