Public bug reported:

After some hardly extensive editing in gimp the menu entries suddenly disappear 
from some gimp windows. 
Disappear means: The top-level menu-labels are visible and clickable, but they 
only reveal empty menus.
Most of the time not all are affected, but after a first encounter it usually 
starts to spread to some other gimp windows.
The bug is not reproducible by performing a certain action but is sure to 
appear after a while of using gimp.
Restarting the application fixes the problem.

I was not sure what package to report this bug against, so please direct
this bug to the right place.
