Good afternoon, I am working on cleaning up older bugs and wondering if you are still having problems using the Get New function. In my Hardy VM and ob my Gutsy install I am currently not having any problems with Get New for Wallpapers. Could you please update this bug with the current status you are seeing. I don't know if this is an issue with the "Get New" function, as it has been reported in Karamba these similar issues. This could be a kde- look.org issue as well.
