Webcam has stopped working. System is running Ubuntu 11.10, and the
webcam is listed as follows by 'lsusb':

064e:a103 Suyin Corp. Acer/HP Integrated Webcam [CN0314]

I have tried 'cheese', luvcview, guvcview and mplayer, and all give
errors.

luvcview probably provides the best information of any of the above:

$ luvcview

luvcview 0.2.6

SDL information:
 Video driver: x11
 A window manager is available

 Device path:  /dev/video0
Stream settings:
 Frame format: YUYV (MJPG is not supported by device)
Unable to set format: Input/output error
Init v4L2 failed !! exit fatal


At this stage it is very difficult to tell if the problem is with the uvc 
driver itself or with V4L2.
